Which radio should I pick?

Licence Free

Licence free radios are cheap to buy but offer limited range (up to 1km). The channels used are open to use by the public so transmission of sensitive information is not recommended.

Licensed

Licensed radios offer a much greater level of coverage (up to 5km), privacy and general build quality. All licensed radios we sell have li-ion batteries as standard and also have metal chassis.

Poc (4g LTE)

PoC (Push to talk over cellular) is a new technology allowing you up to 98% population coverage of the UK. PoC devices use an existing nationwide data network, similar to Police radios, to give huge coverage.
